Ok sorry what remote control?

Andrew, it is simply giving you the same message, but in French. I presume you don't speak French.

If you have changed the battery and it is still coming up with that message then I would suspect the connections within the remote control. I would undo it again, take out the battery, bend the terminals a little so that they make better contact with the battery, and reassemble it again. Be careful not to lose any microchip while you have it in bits.

If you need to reset the key afterwards then you'll find the instructions in your owners handbook. If your messages continue to come up on your display in French, then you may need to reset your chosen language back to English. It explains how to do that in your owners handbook too.

If you still have problems let us know what you do, and what is happening, and we'll try to advise further.

Good luck, or should I say: Bonne chance!
