Zanussi ZDF290X Double Oven: Top Oven Grill Element?

A few months ago I had no problem renewing the bottom oven fan heater element. My top oven grill element now needs replacing and I have the correct part but cannot see any way of releasing the old element without removing the complete unit from its casing. Is this correct.

the element is held in at the back by two 7mm nuts.to get to these you have to pull the oven out and remove the back panel also held with two screws.Take a picture or make a note of connections and then remove wiring.element slides out from inside oven cavity.element will be also fastened to the roof of the oven cavity so remove them also.fit in reverse

you must take the old element out ,, to get the new one in, as you know, so whatever clips, or screws thats holding it in place, but you should be able to free it easy,as it just sits there with a clip or two holding it in place, any that i have ever changed was just held in place or down by 3 clips, its not a hard job to do once you can get at the element.. good luck.
