Brother ce5000prw lights come on but not working at all?

How do I fix my brother ce5000 prw . The light comes on when plugged into electrical outlet, but wont work at all when pedal feet is pressed?

suggest to look for continiuty on foot control when pressed other option to borrow foot control to see if that is problem. next step to open foot control and then machine to look for broken wire or fuse at power supply
