Beko d 532 both front rings not working?

I have a Beko D532, when either of the front rings are turned on they trip the trip in the fusebox, on occasion the right ring has come on but triped the trip in the fusebox when turned off. I can't believe that both front plates have failed at once, it must be something that connects the two. Just after we got it the oven and rear right plate failed this turned out to be the thermostat. At the moment both rear plates, oven and grill are still working

could also be the switch behind the knob (either one of them) part number 163100005 , the finger type connectors work on a cam and they often fuse together

could be just one of the rings down to earth.Have you over boiled anything lately?.easy to test rings with the correct test gear
