How can I fix my Scantronic 9800?

I have a Scantronic 9800. It shows fault EF. I have tested the entry control and it is opening and closing OK. I have reset all factory settings. The problem is still there. This is an old control box. If the control box is faulty and obsoleet what will I replace it with.

D.Ward you are an idiot, yet another member of the public that thinks they know what they are doing, What you have done is create an additional problem, You have tested the Entry Control, Umm, I think the owner needs to be replaced not the panel, 9800 as GTS says is one of the best alarm panels ever made,

the 9800 is one of the best panels out,pity its owned by a moron ,and i make no apologies for saying that,if you cant find a simple fault like that,you should not be working on the system,get a pro in
