Ford Courier Rear Axle Bushes?

With the axle out, how do you get the mountings off to get to the bushes.
Ian Bright., January 2012
mounting usually needs to be knocked off with a big hammer, and usually comes away with torsion bar attached [due to it being rusted on] torsion bar will need pressing out of arm.then inner part of bush will need pressing out also.best way i found was to mig weld large thick washer on to bush inner metal part so it gives you something to press against!also if you do one side at a time it will allow you to position arm in relationship to opposite side, makes setting ride height easier .ensure splines are all cleaned so that torsion bar slides easilly in same.
