Why does my dryer trip the rcd?

When I start my cl767 dryer it try's to turn then trips the rcd,we have just moved in but it worked on rcd protected before we brought it here

remove the kidney shaped back panel to expose the element.probably wet due to transporting causing tripping.use hair dryer and get it red hot and dry whole area out in there.retry
