how do you do an oil change on a citroen saxo

take under tray off from under car , you will see a sump plug looks like a bolt , undo carefully [oil will poor out fast] catch oil in a bowl, take oil filler cap off top of engine . while oil drains take off oil filter [round cylinder looking can , just screws off , replace with new one [smear oil round new seal 1st screw on hand tight then half a turn see instruction on filter ] fill with correct type of oil and the right amount see hand book.
make sure you put sump plug back in 1st. this proccess is simple and to make things a little better warm the engine up 1st [makes oil thinner so runs out better] last check oil level on dip stick start car and let it tick over for about 2/3mins switch it off leave it a couple of mins then check the level again . result the car drives much quieter/ smoother / and last longer. remember dont over fill it its a lot easier to add oil than take it out and adding to much can or to little can damage your engine.

Usually a plug on bottom of sump. But you could get a pump system, stick the pipe down the oil level hole, and suck it out. Not as good, So undo sump plug, with a container below. let oil drain out. PUT drain plug back in, refill with correct grade oil. Done.
You may need to remove under engine covers, probably 1/2 turn locks, but not every time. But whatever they are, just undo them, remove cover. Then as above, the refit cover. Easy. That will be £100 thanks.
