How do I get the element out of Dishlex Global 300?

The element seems to be held in with a screw but we don't seem to be able to budge it. Is this really a screw or just an imitation and there is another way to get it out. I have a Dishlex Global 300 Model DX300IWW*c. I know there are 2 different elements that will fit. Ours has what appears to be a screw in it but it won't budge and we have tried turning both directions.

hello ,, to the Garden city,, of ozz, if it has a screw head on it, its a screw,, it should turn anti clockwise. to the left, but you might not be useing the right fit screwdriver on it, try putting the screwdriver into the slot, and giveing it a light tap" down with a little hammer. and it might help it turn, or see if you can get a small vicegrips. to grip it and try turn it. also spray some wd40 oil on it,
