a red warning light on my ldv maxius van has come on it has a man with a belt comming over him is it just a fault in my seat belt tghing

should go off when you apply your seatbelt,think it only refers to driver side,there should be a white connector under driver seat,try unplugging then re connect,get to it through side hatch facing you when you open door.Could also be a fault with actual seat belt but would maybe try and get it connected to a suitable code reader which may also help with the problem.
