just replaced a blown element in belling model E297wh ?

just replaced a blown element in a belling cooker model no E297wh, but still not working, could this be due to damage to the thermostat or the oven selector when the element blew?

Hard to say without testing them with a multimeter.See a multimeter is a great device. If used correctly you can see where lines of power starts and ends. You are right in assuming either two of them components. However it could be a wiring issue, sorry I couldn't give you positive advice.
