micra timing chains /throttle body?

when the micra k12 starts up it runs rough /misfires /revs are up and down 500 /1500 , when it warms up the car runs a lot better in that it doesnt misfire and the revs remain quite static around 900rpm on tickover.
does anyone know if this is throttle body or cam chain stretch

most posible the throtle body as this houses the air flow sensor and do give trouble, will prob give verry rich fuel smell,,not cheep, try wigling the wiring on the throtle body im sure thair is a mention on web about contacts inside the throttle body, hope this helps,,

More likely to be either the coolant temp sensor or the idle control valve/throttle body needs cleaning but my best bet would be the temp sensor.
