how can i fix my widdop aneroid barometer?

Even though I use the fine adjustment on the reverse of my aneroid barometer the instrument is never correct when I check the reading against for example the bbc weather page for my area. is there another adjustment? Barometer -widdop purchased about 20 years ago!

It never will be, it will show the pressure where you are, Not where the bbc or who ever are, Adjust to somewhere near the figures from bbc or who ever, then leave well alone.

That is the pressure for your position, end of the road, will be different
