I have a service 7-1300AA machine thats blown the breaker in my dis board?

When I looked at the main controller a track has blown (one to the motor loom) I removed the motor and cleaned off the build up of carbon insite and out (the brushes were OK) . I then soldered a link across the damaged track but the machine is still knocking out the breaker. I think the board is knackered but I dont want to fit a new one if the fault was caused by another componant. Any ideas?

You do not say how soon or at what point the trip goes. Try with the motor unplugged, if still throwing trip, board, Could also try unplug the heater, as that is a common fault. Make sure no damage to loom, A track blowing like a fuse, dead short indicated, Any other unit between that board and motor. otherwise you left with board.
