of the four hot plates, two go on and remain very hot. one hot plate cannot be turned off on the work top and must be turned off at the wall.
the other hot plate cannot be controlled by the worktop manual switch. Can they be replaced or and if so ,how can i identify the faulty units (part number) where can i obtain them in the uk and remove the entire hob unit out of the worktop??
I have a qualified electrician to complete all electrical tasks.

get you model,make,serial and product numbers.ring a local general domestic appliance service centre with details and they should be able to get bits for you as to what you actually need is debatable with so many not working.usually one fails but all playing up???.could be energy regulator or the ring itself.BE AWARE that regulators can change and new part will be different and needs to be wired totally different which no one knows how to do and no instructions supplied with part.Bit naughty!!
