Air lock on DAF 45 turbo (M) reg?

I replaced an the outer air reciever yesterday and everythig Ok when I fired her up cjecking for leaks. I think just prior to that they went to put in some diesel and about 1/2 hour later she wouldn't start. I suspect thatit was empty but can't be sure so possibly an airlock - solenoid valve hasn't been playing up at all.

Any ideas and where is the beeld valve on these and do I need to turn the engine over the bleed it. or is there a finger pump on it. This is a horse box so I will need to drop the front so as much info before hand the better.
cheers

There is usually a manual primer on the lift pump which itself is on the engine block, if you can get at it ok just pump it for a few mins then crank engine on the key. If you cant get at the manual pump just crank on the key it will bleed eventually on its own but dont crank for to long without giving the starter a chance to cool down.

The bleed screw should be on the fuel filter head ,and the hand primer is beside the filter ..

Personally before doing anything i would blead the sedimenter which is on the outsidr of the tank ,often ignored

The hand primer will only bleed the system to the fuel filter .Once that is done you will need to slacken the pipes at the injectors and have someone spin the engine over ,when free off air tighten and start ..

The engine stop solenoids can play up ,with the ignition on remove and replace wire ,you should hear it click ,though i have knoen them to still be faulty
