my wipers work on all settings but when i turn them off they stop were they are on the screen so i have to flick the switch on and off until it is back to the rest position.any help please.

have the wipers been operated with blades frozen to screen?sounds like the motor.

The wiper motot head, contains some contacts to keep the motor powered until it gets back to rest. So fault with the contacts, you would need to take motor out or open the cover in place if you can, check the contacts, could be dirt/grease or could be broken contact. You will not know until you get it open
