how do yoy rebuild a ka door lock. have the paasenger door lock in pieces on dining room table HELP

if it is kit from ford you look at the key the cuts match the no;s on he tumblers no cut is 1 the next depth is 2 the next depth is 3 the deepest is 4 .look at the key start from the plastic end and write down the numbers example 421143 .then drop 3 in hole then spacer then 4 spacer 1 spacer 1 spacer 2 spacer 4 then place barrel inside ,with the thin pin in it try the key if it turns you have got it right.put in the plastic ring to hold it in place. if you are not worried about any key fitting it leave out the thin pin that lines up the tumberlers then any key will lock and unlock the door

your ford key will have a no. like T142321 and you will see numbers stamped on your small discs that came out of the barrel,these are inserted in the correct order into the cylinder to match your key,you will have to first get your key no. and would advise to take the kit to a person who has built these up as you will probably need a new locking ring for assembly to hold everything in place,some locks are built up with these discs facing up and some down so unless you noted how the lock came apart you could be there for a long time trying fathom out your problem
