Kenwood Tumble Dryer?

How do I know whether it is the thermostat or heater element which is faulty and how easy it is to replace them?
Arthur Green, January 2012
Test said components with a multimeter.run a ohms or a continuity test on the element.Run a continuity test on the T/stats.an absence of either indicates a open circuit, which is a failure of said components. There are no awkward screws to remove(none hidden).Heater and sats are wired by connectors and are easily removed.
