How do I fix the wash type dial on my Zanussi Jetsystem 1200? It's a year old. The dial just freely rotates and does not engage with any of the wash cycles.

model number would be good here
open the door and look on the rating plate for this info.Most of the newer ones need to have the fascia and control pcb removed to release the knob
