I have a hotpoint tumble dryer model no.VTD00?

In order to rep;lace rotating drum belt I had to remove the front panel and the two side panels. The replacement belt was a devil to fit on and now that it is on,is there a recommended proceedure to re-assembling the front and side panels and re-aligning the rotating drum ?

locate the front panel on the two lugs on the bo ttom plinth and pull the drum upwards until you see that its in line with the slides that the front of the drum runs on and push together making sure you dont knock off the slides, then hold together with the screws. before you reassemble run the blade of a screwdriver between the slides to remove the fluff that caused the belt to wear/burn

Did you take the drum out?

NO so it is in same position as it was. NO problem.
Side panels etc. Well they just screw on SO what is the problem.
You will need to repost with the problem.

No problem, So why are you bothering us.
