Blomberg Logitronic Dishwasher- Possible PCB Replacement?

Hi all

I would sooo like some help...

I have a Bloburg Logitronic, in immaculate condition and the display said (in German) to call service. I did so and the guy said it was a new control/competer unit was likely the issue, in that he could not find a fault. Issue is he quoted like 180 quid to fix it...

I am kinda OK with electronics but am worried on buying a nwe PCB (cost) and also getting the right one etc etc.

Can anybody advise me?

Thanks

We live in a world of throw away because parts especially pcb's are the same price as buying a new one.Manufacturers are making it harder and harder to do economical repairs because of there spares pricing policies.Rant over!!!

Urggh...

Good point on guarentee of repair . . prob would say that. I guess he has done all the 'usual' and when the display says call service.. his last ofpion is the PCB/control unit.

Many moons ago I was trained in electronic but without a blue print its hard to fault find. Seems so much a waste!!!!

honest opinion is to buy another one.I put money on it not being the pcb at fault in the end and when replaced will still not work!!.Could be wrong.get whoever diagnosed it to buy the board and fit it and tell them if it works you will pay and if it doesn't you won't pay.bet he turns you down on coming to do repair!
