what spanners is required to change a alternator on a 2003 1,4 diesel ford fiesta and what sizes are the spanners and the best method to do this thanks
if its like the peugeot 206 1.4 hdi which the engine is then it fastens to the block with 4 bolts 16mm 17mm 19mm ? If its got aircon you will have to remove the pump fisrt and drop down on the pipes to get at it,tie it up with a rope to keep the pressure off pipes .then the alternator will come out.it takes 2.5 to 3hrs to do on a 206. [do not remove aircon pipes]
