Hi I have a beko washing machine that will fill but that's all it does,it then just stops and doesn't do anything else,I can cancel the programmes,and if I select another it will do the same,if I jump straight onto spin it doesn't do anything.
I have drained the machiene and checked the pump and this spins freely with no blockages.
Anyone have any advice on what to check next?

check the motor brushes.10mm or less of carbon needs replacing.you can pull the carbon bit out of the holder and stretch them slightly and refit to test and see if it then works.if it does stop using it as if the brushes come totally out they will destroy the motor/machine!

is it a mechanical control timer with a direct drive pump or a electrical pump. the reason for question i am not familiar with machine but on a electrical pump it sometime seem like pump is working but instead is just spinning back and fro instead of turning
