how can I stop my almera bonnet rattling on tick over?
Have a 2002 almera 1.8 se+ hatchback and the bonnet has started to rattle and vibrate when the engine ticks over (seems to disappear when increasing the engine revs or when the bonnet is released ) anyone know how to cure this problem?

Look for two plastic stubs, 1each side adjustable screw things, turn one of them out a bit, try that. A bit more, or maybe the other side.

hard to say but is it mis firing?rough idling?did an exhaust on one of these last week and when started you could hardly hear it ticking over,very smooth,maybe have a look at your engine/g/box mounts also
