Westinghouse Freestyle electric wall oven 688?

My oven gets too hot - If the recipe says 200 I bake on 180 and the cake still burns. This is a fan forced oven but I don't have the choice to turn off the fan nor the choice to turn off the light until I need it.

We have found the same problem with ours.
It cooks everything at a blistering heat and burns things even when set 40c lower than a recipe says.

Haven't found a confirmed fix yet, but an electrician friend of ours suggested the the dial on the front which contains the thermostat or thermistor was busted and it couldn't regulate the temperature anymore.

Hope this helps.
