grill trips electricity?

i have a aspen flavel 100 duel fuel cooker my question is every time i put the grill on after about 10 seconds it trips the electricty is there a thermostat or is it the element ?

i would replace the element first, i would say its gone inside,

could be an element fault although to prove this you need a special meter to test the insulation of the element at the time it trips
