How do you remove a speed restricter off a standard 50cc scooter (riveira)?

Its a riveira scooter. if you dont know how to remove the restricter than do you know where the restricter is located? cheers guys

is it an mci riviera ?if so like ray says its a spacer in the middle of the variator.as its a 2 stroke the exhaust will also be heavily baffled which will slow it down and also its more than likley got a catayst in it too

on a standard scooter. remove side casing (kickstart side) the front pulley has a washer(about 13mm wide) in the middle under the belt. remove this washer.thats.the restricter. plus the exhaust might have a restricter on,, or in it.
