peugeot 306 engine?

my 1998(r)1.9 turbo diesel 306 has siezed up and needs replacing.will any 1.9 diesel from the peugeot range fit.if so which.

NO! unless its from the earlier 306 (L REG - R REG)
you can put any size engine in (e.g. 2.0l, 1.9l) just make sure its a diesel and has a turbo
