How do I stop my door hinge on my Mark 2 Renault megane stop cracking?

I have a megane but when you open the door it cracks creaks and is very noisy. It looks like it's the metal box part that is making the noise on the hinge but have mo idea how to fix this.

usually door check strap cracks,and is caused by loose fixing nuts/bolts.if its creaking it may want a drop of oil on hinges and check strap.
