To change the name and password you need to use the Users Account applet from the controll pannel.
From there, you can create a new account with your name, and set your password.
Make a Google search for "worst passwords" and "most common passwords" for passwords that you MUST NOT use EVER.
Next, you should delete the previous account. You can do so while still keeping the files associated with that old account.
If you want to REALY personalise the logon, you can use LogonStudio from Stardock. It's available for free. It's arguably the safest application that can accomplish that task. It won't change any system file.
That same compagny also make a whole suite of customisation applications, but you'll have to pay for it.
