I've got a Eureka Boss SmartVac and it won't turn on. It appears the thermal cutoff has been activated. I've waited and it still won't turn on. Is there somewhere I can reset the thermal cutoff? I've done a lot of my own vac maintenance and I don't have time to get it to a shop before my son's birthday party. HELP!

To add to the above, there was no burning smell or extended use when the unit just quit, but the symptoms are what the manual describes as the thermal cutoff.
