bearing?

how does the drum come away from the bearing.i have separated the drum casing but will not come apart to get to the bearing out because bearing needs replacing

I find it easier to cut the bearing, once it is out of the outer drum, cut part way through in a few locations, (I use a Dremmel with cutting disk) and use a cold chisle to split remains, any part left in outer drum, you should be able to drift out, move the drift around as you go. Good grease, new ones will just slide on, with very little force.

thrash the drum shaft through the bearing but DO NOT hit and burr the shaft up as it will Never go through the bearing and you will need a new one
