is it possible to re time a 2007 vw caravelle 2.5 pd motor without the specalist vw cam timing tools if so how.

Get ur self over to the t4 t5 forums and ask there mate,

is your engine a 2.5tdi or petrol?

I dont think you wil get the timimg spot on without vagcom but u can get it near on
