Some automatic cars should not be towed at all. Others may be towed small distances at low speed. As there is no engine running there is no transmission fluid being pumped for lubrication. I have never seen 'seals blown' by car being towed as in other post.

do you mean engine turns over without key in? when you connect battery and when key turned on it wont start? why was vehicle towed?

towing auto car not cause this prob,if you towed it long distance with all wheels on ground,u may have blown seals in gear box check battery connections check the earth connection from battery to car body
