Wiring a towbar on a Scenic 2007?

Can anybody tell me is it just a flashing buzzer relay I require or do I need a bypass relay. The one I got with the secondhand towbar was off a 53 scenic and it just has the flashing buzzer relay.

As cdc says contact towsure, as you might well need a CAN bus adapter harness. With renaults being the worst manufacturer for wierd electrical/electronic faults, the last thing you want to do is introduce any reason for their delicate system to fail and it ends up costing more than the cars worth to fix!!!

phone Towsure with your model etc and they will supply the correct wiring kit

A bypass relay with a buzzer built in is the safest option as it doesn't put any significant load on the original car circuit and can stop and problems with light out sensors built in to vehicle ecu's
