how do i replace the brush motor?

i ordered a new motor for my bissell lift off revolution. there are what look like wire nuts holding the connections together, though they look like they're metal inside and they are pinched tight. of course i didn't get new ones with the motor i ordered. is there any way to get those wire nuts off so that i can use them again, or are they soddered? am i going to have to splice wires?

You can carefully squeeze them together with pliers so that they are round again the wires should then pull out. When I did mine they were not soldered but just twisted together.
