Our business just bought a 500dx cash register. We were told by customer service that it does NOT print the transaction total/subtotal on the receipt. However, the FAQs laminated sheet and the manual both indicate that it does print transaction totals/subtotals on receipts. CAN the 500dx print transaction totals/subtotals on receipts? If so, how is it programmed to do so?

If you goggle this problem, many people have this issue. There seems to be no way to correct this problem (I have talked to Royal with no success). If you are looking to buy this register, walk on by.

It is usually a machine setting that turns it on or off. I don't have any information on this model as it is very new. It would pay to check the machine settings tables in your programming manual (usually called flag options in Royal manuals). otherwise, I'd need a copy of the manual to be sure
