It will only work if on your 16 pin diagnostic socket it has a pin in pin # 6, if it has, then with a paperclip short pin 6 to earth then count the number and duration of flashes of the engine warning light and this will equate to a stored fault code in the engines ECU. If there is'nt a pin 6 the only way to get the fault codes is with a code reader
