I've bought a new handle and when I eventually got the old one out I found it was the cable, the little black thing at the end of the cable as snapped,tried gluing it but no joy,so went to ford and they don't sell the black part it comes complete with the cable,does anybody have any info on how to change the cable? Some images would be fantastic

think this is the seat belt stalk you are on about connected to the seat,would disconnect the battery and leave for 1/2 an hour before working on it,if you cannot access the fixing bolt onto the seat then the seat may have to be removed to remove it,disconnect the wiring connector and refit in reverse,make sure you have your radio code before starting the job,good luck
