car will not start?

when i turn my peugeot 206 engine on it will not start , and als i can hear is a fan starting up.

will need a code read to see what problem is.you do not say what year it is some of the newer ones have a sencer for computer and fan temp on hose housing if this one it can cause this fault it has 3 wires
