can I alter tick over rpm,nissan micra,2008?

Tick over rpm at 1300,should be between 600 to 700

The idle speed is controled by the ECU via the idle control valve and is not adjustable, it could be the idle valve has stuck, you have an air leak in the intake system or the ECU is being given false info from some sensors and is causing the high idle speed, getting it onto a code reader might reveal the problem
