Main Combi 24 HE won't light on resetting?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? My Main Combi 24HE has 'Flame Failure' lit. On resetting, the boiler fan starts up, the electrodes spark but it does not fire up. I'm running on LPG from 75kg cylinders and had a new regulator fitted in the summer to serve these. The boiler pressure is nicely in the 1 bar zone and the unit is less that 18 months old and used only to provide hot water and heat one adjacent radiator.

I think the fault is pointing towards the automatic changeover regulator I had fitted a few months ago. From the visual research I've done on these, mine seems to have been fitted upside down with it's vent exposed to the elements. As it is the clear screw on cap that covers the over pressure valve (pointing downwards in this case) has water in it. I can't help feeling that the thing is full of water and ice. Time to call the installer methinks.

Thanks Bill, I'll look into it. It's unlikely to be the valve at the tanks as its a two tank system with an automatic switchover.

Sounds like it either needs air purging out of the gas pipe ie if it has run out of gas at some point or the gas valve is not working.
