I have just bought a 2007 scenic when we said we would have it I made a few demands, new cam belt etc. One problem was the steering wheel refused to move up or down or in and out. The showroom owner had a go and said I will get the lads to look at it when the other work was done. When we come to collect the car the excuse that was given was that it must have been replaced with a non adjustable column so we took it. After looking at it myself it seems to be the adjustable type the "lads" had tightend the locking lever so that it woudn't move. I still think this should adjust any renault guys out there know anything.
