Thermostat or element?

I have a Baumatic BT2710SS cooker with electric ovens. The secondary oven heats to a low level but not hot enough to cook with. The thermosatat control light comes on as if it is working fully but switches off before oven is fully heated, even if I turn thermostat to Max Heat. Any ideas what the problem is?

Look inside the oven for the temperature sensor and make sure it is held in the clip and not loose and maybe resting on the hot element. If it is okay then it must be faulty and you need to fit a new thermostat.
