Replacing heating element on a Hotpoint wm63?

Hello.

I have noticed that my machine no longer heats up the water it's self. I was going to buy a new element, but before i purchased one i screwed off varoius panels for a quick look but couldn't find where the element is fitted. Can anyone help and possibly tell me if this is a hard job ?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi Phil.

Thanks for the rapid reply ! I have already removed the front panel, i am down to the the element, but i think i will test it with a multimeter first before i un-bolt it.

Any more tips would be much appreciated.

hi this is a difficult job you have to remove the front half of the washer to remove the element.not recomended if you have never done before call an engineer (p.s it doesnt have to be the element)
