2.5 transit diesel van cold weather starting problem?
my van has a new battery now which wasn't the problem it turns over really slowly and wont start
while turning it over it does get faster but by the time its up to speed the battery needs a charge
could it need different oil or more coolant in the water system (obviously the water is not froze )
don`t take any chances,just renew the lead,good luck

after cranking it over for about a minute i did notice the earth lead on the starter was starting to glow red on the nut on the starter

as in previous post,the main lead from battery to starter gave problems on these,check the crimped connectors and also the earth onto one of the starter bolts,if you think this is ok then your starter may need looked at
