Shower head keeps blowing out?

I moved into a house a year ago. They had a new bathroom installed. This has a mixer shower cubicle runs off gas heated water.

The seal on shower heads keeps breaking - so water comes out of the edge rather than through the shower. I am on my third shower head - they work for a while and then go. The pressure of the water coming out is OK but nothing fancy.

Is there too much pressure inside the shower head forcing the seal to blow?. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I use a combi boiler, so water is at mains pressure, never had any trouble with shower heads, present one been on 10 yrs+ only changed it for one of the variable spray pattern ones rather than the standard single pattern. are you getting correct type of head, some are marked for use with combi boilers, etc
