F05 error code of Hotpoint wasing machine?

Hotpoint 960 washing machine has F05 fault again, managed to get it to do a spin to release water and then checked and cleaned hose and pump for 2nd time, nothing really found just minor gunge on both occasions, wash started again and had couple since all ok but now intermittently gives the F05 error and stops, could it be a pump problem not a blockage, everything appears clear and this is really frustrating. Is this consistent with pump failure, as i will replace, or is it likely to be something else like sensor issue or ....?

if your drain pump is of the vane type that can seperate from motor here is how to test it as sometime it seem the pump is working but meantime is just agitating, the 2 magnets working against each other.split pumphousing and put a piece of tape on one of the vanes.start the pump and feel with finger if vanes are doing full circle when running.be carefull with open electricity!! but if you carefull can be done
