how to get the engineers code to re-activate my burglar alarm?

Hi I have a CASTLE CARE-TECH 1500,alarm system ,which went wrong due to a fault in the bell box,the fault was fixed by a friend who used to be in the trade,the weather had got into the bell box causing it to go off at all times day and night.He had to totally shut the system down to stop it ringing,he then found the fault in the bell box repaired it,but now we cannot re-activate the alarm with out the code,I,ve been in touch with Castle care but they won,t even acknowledge my e,mails,can you help??

Engineers code changed by the manufacurer for a personal touch - I must remember to quote that when doing a system takeover. I like that one! lol

Rubbish.
Castle would not have had anything to do with changing codes after sale of the panel.
Where did that idea come from?

The Manager's code would have bee changed to the Users needs.

The Engineer's code would have been changed to the installing persons whim.

We are all aware of that clive, castle use the euro g range,including the meridian.

The factory default settings are as follows,

2222 managers

1111 engineering

But the codes are likely to have been changed by castle,for that personal touch.

you could give the default codes above a try,

When they come from the factory they are fitted with engineers codes that are not left with the user.This is the code needed to activate it.

What is wrong with your old code? If all he did was turn it off it still works.
